The viewing glass seals the firebox and lets radiant heat pass through to the room while containing combustion behind a fixed barrier. The Enviro Front Door Glass (part 50-3235) replaces the front glass in the Enviro Berkeley and S40 gas stoves, and comes with the gasket already installed around the pane.

Purpose

This glass forms the sealed front barrier of the firebox, allowing safe viewing of the flame while retaining heat inside the appliance rather than losing it through an open or compromised door.

Key Benefits

• Supports proper door sealing for correct combustion airflow
• Replaces cracked or cloudy glass that can compromise safe operation
• Gasket pre-installed for a proper seal against the door frame
• Restores a clear view of the flame
• Genuine Enviro part matched to the correct door opening

Specifications

• Approximate size: 16.875 in. x 21.0625 in.
• Includes gasket, pre-installed on the glass
• Fits the front door only — not the Berkeley side glass

Other Notes

Inspect the glass regularly for cracks, chips, or persistent cloudiness, since a compromised pane can reduce radiant heat output and affect safe operation of the stove.

When replacing this glass, check the door gasket seal and latch mechanism for wear, as both affect how tightly the door closes against the firebox.
