Finished in black glass rather than painted steel, this liner set gives the Enviro C44 firebox a darker, glass-faced interior. The black glass liner set (part 50-4257) is the firebox liner option for the Enviro C44, lining the back and side walls of the firebox in place of the steel liner the fireplace ships with.

Fit

• Made for the C44 firebox: includes a rear liner panel plus side liner panels.
• Installs in place of the standard steel liner, with the rear panel slipping into the channel behind the media tray and the side panels seating in the media tray's side channels; the firebox's three liner retainers hold the panels at the top.

What it adds

This liner set changes the firebox's back and side surfaces from steel to black glass, giving the C44 a different finished look. It is one of four optional C44 liners, alongside Fluted, Ledgestone and Black Enameled finishes; every C44 ships standard with a steel liner and vermiculite. Burner media, such as black glass media or a black glass bezel, is ordered separately.

Installation

Let the appliance cool completely before handling the liner panels, which the manufacturer notes are fairly fragile and should be unwrapped and installed carefully to avoid scratching or bumping them.
