The Urbana U37 and U44 fireplaces use the Clean Finish Chase Comfort Kit (part 50-4175) to move heat out of the chase and discharge it outside the home. It's a genuine Urbana factory option built for installs where no visible heat discharge is wanted, and it mounts to fit the chase on these same units.

What it adds

A blower housing mounted on the same exterior wall as the chase discharges the chase heat outside, running whenever the fireplace is on with a fixed, non-adjustable blower speed. Urbana's U37 and U44 manuals list this configuration as installation Option 5, No Visible Discharge, and it requires the fireplace's Cool Surface System (CSS) to be activated first, with the chase venting into the same room.

Fit

• Must be installed within 8 in. of the chase ceiling.
• Not permitted for use unless CSS has been activated, per Urbana's install manual.
