Enviro Wood Door Gasket 1 in. x6 ft. (EF-168 / EF168)

This gasket is the replacement door seal for compatible Enviro, EnviroFire and Vista Flame wood stoves and inserts that use the EF-168 rope gasket. The Enviro Wood Door Gasket (part EF-168, also listed as EF168) replaces the worn rope seal on the door pan of these appliances.

Purpose

It creates the seal between the door and the door pan, keeping combustion air flow controlled as designed rather than drawn in around a gap.

Key Benefits

• Restores a proper door seal for consistent draft control and combustion efficiency
• Helps maintain intended heat output by preventing uncontrolled air leaks
• Genuine Enviro part sized to the factory channel for a correct fit
• Rope-style construction supports a tight, trimmed-to-fit installation

Specifications

• Width: 1 in.
• Length: 6 ft.
• Style: rope gasket

Other Notes

Clean the old gasket and adhesive fully from the channel before fitting the new rope, and use a gasket cement to hold it in place. A worn or improperly seated door gasket can allow combustion gases to leak past the door, so a snug, glued-in fit matters.

While replacing this gasket, it's worth inspecting the glass gasket around the door window, as both seals tend to wear together and are commonly replaced at the same time.
