Built for the Enviro Westport, part 50-4581 is a #53 long-style main burner orifice that sets the propane flow to the main burner, keeping flame size and heat output on target.

Fit

• Enviro Westport.
• #53 DMS is the propane (LP) orifice size for this unit; natural gas Westport models use #39 DMS instead.
• Threads into the brass elbow and is removed with a 1/2 in. deep socket.

When to replace it

A worn or incorrectly sized orifice can throw off burner performance, leading to a weak or uneven flame and reduced heating efficiency. Gas valve and orifice issues on a Westport should be corrected promptly rather than worked around.

Specifications

• Orifice size: #53 DMS, long style.
• Propane manifold pressure for the Westport: 11.0 in. W.C.

Installation

Installation should be performed by a licensed gas technician, and local codes apply.
