Switching a gas stove's fuel source requires matching internal valve components to the new gas type, and that is exactly what this kit does. The Enviro NG to LP Conversion Kit (part 50-3262) replaces the natural gas components in the Nova Valve/Millivolt system of compatible Berkeley and S40 gas stoves with parts sized for propane.

Purpose

This kit reconfigures the gas valve system so a Berkeley or S40 stove built for natural gas can safely run on propane instead, matching orifice and valve components to the new fuel type.

Key Benefits

• Direct-fit for Berkeley and S40 Nova Valve models — no modification needed
• Genuine Enviro components, not an aftermarket substitute
• Restores correct valve calibration for the new fuel source
• Ships new in original factory packaging

Other Notes

Conversion kits alter how the gas valve meters fuel, so installation should be performed by a licensed gas technician in accordance with local codes. Confirm the part number against your stove's installation manual before ordering, since gas valve issues should be corrected properly rather than worked around.

While replacing this kit, it is worth inspecting the pilot assembly, thermocouple or thermopile, and burner orifices for wear, since these components work together with the gas valve.
