This regulator plate sets the 50% turn-down on the SIT Nova 820 gas valve, limiting how far the burner can modulate down on natural gas. It is part 50-488 from Enviro, built for the models listed below, and installs on the front of the valve in place of the existing regulator.

When to replace it

If the burner will not turn down as far as it should, or the valve is not modulating the way the appliance calls for, the regulator plate is often the part at issue. Gas valve problems are worth addressing right away rather than working around them.
