When the door frame no longer seats securely or the front skirt sits loose and rattles, the rear chassis behind it may be worn, bent, or cracked. The Metallic Black rear chassis, part 50-4242 from Enviro, is built for the Enviro S50 freestanding gas stove and gives the door frame and front skirt a solid structural base to hook into.

Fit

• Made for the Enviro S50.
• A Carrara White version of this rear chassis is also available for the same stove.

When to replace it

If the door frame won't hold in its slots or the front skirt no longer hangs correctly, the chassis it hooks onto has likely warped or failed, and getting the correct Metallic Black unit for your S50 restores that fit.

Specifications

• Finish: Metallic Black
• Two bottom spacers support the chassis weight; four mounting screws secure it in place

Installation

Let the appliance cool completely before removing the door frame, skirt, and chassis screws.
