The door frame holds the curved glass of the Enviro S50 secure against the firebox, keeping the glass properly clamped for correct operation. The Metallic Black door cover, part 50-4243, is the genuine Enviro replacement for the Enviro S50.

When to replace it

Replace this cover if the frame has become hard to mount or no longer locks down evenly on both sides, since Enviro's manual notes this can mean the curved glass is not clamped properly. It's also worth replacing a cover with scratched or worn painted surfaces, since the manual cautions against scratching the finish during removal.

Fit

• Hangs on four hooks, two per side, that interlock with slots in the chassis for mounting and removal.
• Comes off along with the skirt for firebox and component access.
