The Enviro Q1 Co-Linear Venting Insert Adapter Kit (part 50-2982) is the venting option for the Enviro Q1 when it's installed as a fireplace insert. It allows the Q1 to be vented into an existing solid fuel masonry fireplace rather than venting as a standalone fireplace with the clean face trim kit or a surround.

What it adds

This kit changes how the Q1 vents, directing the appliance into an existing fireplace chimney instead of a dedicated vent run, and is supplied as a vent collar plate with collars and gaskets. Enviro's manual permits this venting method into any solid fuel fireplace built of noncombustible materials to code, provided an approved chimney liner and rain cap are used along with a throat connector or flashing for a tight seal.
