A bent, loose, or missing safety screen in front of the glass is usually the first sign this part needs attention. The Clear View safety screen (part 50-3052) is a genuine Enviro replacement for the Enviro Q1 gas fireplace and insert, and it mounts in front of the glass as the appliance's standard protective barrier.

Fit

• Fits the Enviro Q1.
• The screen's frame carries left, right, and top/bottom brackets, with four hooks that slide into brackets on each side of the cabinet.
• When installed, the screen should not stand out past the surround panel; if it does, the surround mounts need moving.

When to replace it

Replace the screen if it no longer sits flush with the surround panel or if its frame, brackets, or hooks are damaged, since the screen is the barrier in front of the glass and needs to be reinstalled before the fireplace is run.

Specifications

• Frame secured with sixteen #8 T20 screws (not over-tightened)
• Four mounting hooks, one set per side of the cabinet

Installation

Let the appliance cool completely before removing or reinstalling the screen.
