If your Enviro pellet stove is smoldering instead of burning clean, or ash is building up instead of dropping into the ash pan, a worn burn pot liner is a likely cause. The Enviro Burn Pot Liner (part 20-054) replaces the stainless steel liner that houses burning pellets in the P4 and EF5 Evolution pellet stoves.

Purpose

The liner holds the pellets as they burn and directs ash down into the ash pan. Without a sound liner, combustion suffers and ash handling stops working as designed.

Other Notes

Burn pot components take the most direct heat and fuel contact in a pellet stove, so they wear faster than most other parts. Inspecting the liner at the start of each heating season can catch warping or burn-through before it affects combustion.

While you have the burn pot area open, it is worth checking the igniter and ash pan for wear as well, since all three components work together and tend to show fatigue around the same time.
