Enviro Glass Replacement w/ Gasket - 'Cabello-1 ft. Inserts (50-3758)

A cracked or foggy glass panel, or a gasket that's gone flat and brittle, is usually the first sign this part needs replacing. The Enviro Glass Replacement w/ Gasket (50-3758) replaces the worn glass and door seal on 'Cabello-1 ft. wood insert models, restoring a proper seal between the firebox and the room.

Purpose

The ceramic glass panel and gasket provide a large viewing area while sealing the firebox door so combustion air draws correctly and heat radiates into the room rather than escaping around the door.

Key Benefits

• Restores a tight door seal, which helps maintain correct combustion airflow
• Reduces the risk of combustion gases leaking past a worn gasket
• Ceramic glass supports proper radiant heat output
• Ships as a genuine Enviro part in original packaging
• Sized specifically for the larger 'Cabello-1 ft. glass opening

Specifications

• Dimensions: 18 3/8 in. x 11 1/2 in.
• Includes gasket
• Enviro part number 50-3758 (also listed as 503758)

Other Notes

Check your insert's rating plate to confirm you have the 'Cabello-1 ft. model before ordering, since a similar-looking but smaller glass is used on other Cabello models. Mounting screws can seize over time; a penetrating oil and a proper screwdriver help avoid cracking the glass during removal.

While you have the door open, inspect any adjoining rope gasket or door seal for flattening, fraying, or gaps, since a worn seal elsewhere on the door will undermine the benefit of a new glass and gasket.
