A scorched, loose, or missing cover plate above the fireplace facing usually points to a worn Cool Surface System outlet bezel. The Enviro G42 CSS Front Vent Outlet Trim Bezel (part 50-3796) is the genuine Enviro replacement trim piece for the CSS heat outlet on the Enviro G42 gas fireplace. It covers the finished wall opening where chase heat vents out above the unit, helping keep that wall surface cooler.

Specifications

• Fits a framed cutout of 48 in. x 3 in., with the top of the cutout 1 1/2 in. from the top of the chase
• Covers the edge of the finishing material around the cutout

Fit

• Made for the Enviro G42 rating plate model
• Listed in the G42 owner's manual parts list as the Cool Surface System Bezel

When to replace it

Replace the bezel when it's cracked, discolored from heat, or no longer seats cleanly against the wall, since getting the correct part for this exact cutout keeps the finished opening covered properly.

Installation

Let the appliance cool completely before removing or reinstalling the bezel.
