A clouded, warped, or missing screen in front of the firebox glass is usually the first sign this part needs attention. The Clear View safety screen (part 50-3074) is the genuine Enviro barrier fitted to the Enviro E44 gas insert, installed over the firebox opening once the log set and door are back in place.

When to replace it

Enviro's E44 manual treats this screen as the final piece restored after any service work, so if the one on hand is damaged or was removed and not replaced, the firebox is missing its intended barrier until a new screen goes back in.

Fit

• Fits the Enviro E44, matching the listing on Enviro's E44 product page and dealer documentation.
• Listed as item 15, the E44 Replacement Safety Screen, in the E44I owner's manual (named E44-S Clear View Safety Screen in the 2019 and 2026 parts lists).

Installation

Let the appliance cool completely before removing or refitting this screen.
