Raising the base shelf height on an Enviro E33 or EX35 gas insert calls for the Base Shelf Riser, part 50-2435 from Enviro, built to work with the base shelf on these models. It fastens beneath the Base Shelf to lift it to the desired height, with each riser adding to the overall rise.

What it adds

The first riser adds about 1/2 in. to the base shelf height, and each additional riser stacked on top adds 2 1/8 in. more. Multiple risers can be fastened together to build up the height in these increments, but the riser is not for use with 4-sided surrounds, and leveling legs on the unit may need adjusting to match the new shelf height.

Fit

• For the Base Shelf itself, choose part 50-2434, sold separately.
• When installing with risers, the Base Shelf is fastened to the riser with one T-20 screw, and each additional riser level uses nine #8 T-20 screws.
