A safety screen that no longer swings cleanly, has a damaged mesh, or is missing from the front of an Enviro E25 gas insert is a sign it needs replacing. The Enviro E25 Safety Screen (part 50-3956) is the screen only for the Enviro E25, and it mounts to the surround sides to swing open like a door for servicing access.

Fit

• Fits the Enviro E25.
• Screen only — the E25 surround assembly is a separate part.
• Mounts to the surround sides on screws threaded through from the screen side, with the nut left halfway down the thread so the screen can still swing open.

When to replace it

Replace the screen when it no longer swings freely on its mounting screws or when the mesh is damaged, since Enviro's manuals require any safety screen removed for servicing to be refitted before the appliance is run.

Installation

Let the appliance cool completely before removing or refitting the screen.
