When the front trim around a C44 gas insert starts to look worn, chipped, or discolored, it changes the whole appearance of the fireplace even if the burner underneath still works fine. The Enviro C44 Borderview Surround (part 50-3200) replaces that trim panel on compatible C44 series gas inserts and fireplaces.

Purpose

This surround, also called the face or trim, frames the opening of the C44 insert and finishes the appliance front. It is a genuine Enviro part built for this specific model series, not an aftermarket copy.

Key Benefits

• Direct-fit replacement — matches the original C44 opening without modification
• Genuine Enviro part built to factory dimensions
• Powder Coated Grey finish matches the original surround color
• Restores a finished, factory appearance to the fireplace front

Specifications

• Dimensions: 50 3/4 in. W x 21 in. H
• Finish: Powder Coated Grey

Other Notes

Check that the surround sits flush against the insert opening before final fastening, since a warped or bent panel can leave gaps along the edges.

While replacing the surround, it's worth inspecting the burner, pilot assembly, and rod components in the same area for wear, since these parts sit close together and are often serviced at the same time.
