A flame that burns too tall, lazy and dirty, or too low and flickery, often means the firebox exhaust restriction no longer matches the vent run. The Enviro C34/C44/C60 Restrictor Plates (part 50-3408) are the genuine Enviro restrictor set for the Enviro C34, Enviro C44 and Enviro C60 linear gas fireplaces, used to tune combustion and flame appearance for the installed vent configuration.

What's in the kit

• Six restrictor plates, each marked with rectangular holes corresponding to its percentage of restriction: 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% and 60%
• Correct setting is selected using the vent configuration graphs in the appliance manual

When to replace it

If the flame still runs very flickery and low, or very tall and lazy, after adjusting the air shutter, the restrictor size is likely wrong for the vent run and should be checked or swapped for correct combustion.

Fit

• Restrictor is secured in the firebox with 3 wing nuts, behind the safety screen assembly and glass door

Installation

Let the appliance cool completely before removing the safety screen and glass door to change the restrictor.
