This kit adds ductless Cool Surface System activation through the side walls of the appliance, and it's offered by Enviro as the left and right side vent louver kit, part 50-3950, for the models listed below. It routes CSS output through side discharges rather than the front of the unit.

What it adds

The side vent configuration activates CSS without ductwork, suited to installations with enclosure ceiling heights of 96 in. and up. It can be installed in either horizontal or vertical orientation, and it is a distinct option from the 50-3455 CSS side vent kit, which is intended for installations where ceiling height is lower.

Fit

• Includes both the left and right side louvers for side-wall CSS discharge.
• A wall directly in front of any side CSS opening must sit at least 16 in. away.
• Side CSS openings must be positioned at least 60 in. from the nearest fire sprinkler head.
• Front vent alternatives for this kit are 50-3965, 50-3966 and 50-3967.
