If the room near your wood stove feels cooler than it used to, or the fan never switches on even after the firebox is hot, the blower assembly is usually the cause. This is a genuine Enviro fan blower kit (part 50-2417) built for the Boston 1200 Cast Iron Wood Stove.
The blower pulls cool air from floor level, moves it past the rear of the stove, and pushes it back into the room through the top, carrying heat away from the firebox instead of letting it stay trapped around the appliance.
If the stove was installed with the standard clearances from the wall, you typically won't need to pull it away from the wall to access the blower for replacement. While you're in there, it's worth checking the thermodisc and wiring for wear, since a fan that never engages can sometimes trace back to the sensor rather than the motor itself.
If you're replacing this blower, it's also worth inspecting the fan speed switch and any related wiring harness for corrosion or heat damage, since both sit in the same airflow path and see similar wear over time.
