Turning this dial sets the fan speed on the rotary controller that manages airflow out of the stove; once the appliance reaches operating temperature, a sensor switches the fan on automatically at whatever setting the dial is turned to, and off again as the stove cools. This is the genuine Enviro fan control knob, part 50-2768, for the models listed below.

Fit

• The dial is located at the lower left side of the unit and lifts straight off for removal.
• For the fan assembly itself, choose part 50-2390.
• For the fan controller used with this system, choose part EC-039.

When to replace it

If the knob has become loose, cracked, or no longer grips the control shaft, the fan speed can be hard to set or hold steady, which affects how evenly warm air moves out of the stove and through the room. A worn knob is a simple point of failure to rule out before suspecting the fan or sensor itself.
