When a stove's blower slows down or stops turning, heat tends to stay trapped near the firebox instead of circulating into the room. The Blower Motor Only (50-2493) is a replacement motor for the Enviro Boston 1200 wood stove's blower assembly.

Purpose

This motor drives the blower wheel that pulls room air across the stove's heat exchanger and pushes it back out into the space. A functioning motor keeps that air movement steady and consistent.

Key Benefits

• Supports even, consistent heat distribution across the room
• Reduces strain on the stove from a struggling or seized motor
• Direct replacement for the original Boston 1200 blower motor
• Motor-only option for stoves where the housing and wheel are still sound

Other Notes

Before replacing the motor, check that the blower wheel and housing are clean and free of debris, since buildup can make a good motor seem weak or noisy.

While inspecting the blower, it's worth checking the blower wheel, housing, and any related wiring or switches for wear, since these components often age together.
