The cast top covers the firebox and must be lifted off before the cast door can be removed or the glass door latches reached, so a sound, properly fitted top matters for both access and finish. The Cast Top - Painted (part 50-3246) is the genuine Enviro replacement top for the Enviro Berkeley gas stove.

Specifications

• Material: cast iron
• Finish: painted black (also offered in enameled Antique Chestnut)

Fit

• Fits the Enviro Berkeley, including the Berkeley-Nova and Berkeley-IPI/Berkeley-D variants
• Listed in both the Berkeley and Berkeley IPI parts lists

When to replace it

Replace this top if the casting is cracked, warped, or the painted finish has worn through, since a damaged top can affect how the stove seats and seals during operation. Clean it with a damp cloth only, never while hot, as other cleaners can leave a residue that etches into the surface.

Installation

Let the stove cool completely before lifting the cast top off.
