Fitting the Enviro Empress and Enviro Westport, this is the clear rubber bumper for the cast top, Enviro part 50-1149, sold as a pack of four. It cushions the cast iron top where it meets the appliance body, helping reduce wear from metal-on-metal contact.

When to replace it

Over time these bumpers can flatten, harden, or fall off, which lets the cast top sit or shift without the cushioning it was designed with. Cracked, missing, or compressed bumpers are a sign it's time to replace the set.

What's in the kit

• Four clear rubber bumpers, 1/2 in. each

Installation

Let the appliance cool completely before replacing the bumpers.
