The Urbana U55 Traditional Split Log Set (part 50-4326) is the log set option for the Urbana U55 fireplace. It is made up of ceramic logs arranged over the U55's fire grate to create a traditional split-wood appearance in the firebox.

Fit

• Built specifically for the Urbana U55 firebox and grate.
• For the birch look instead, choose the Urbana U55 Birch Log Set.

What it adds

This is one of two log set options for the U55, offering a traditional split-log appearance as an alternative to the U55 Birch Log Set. Urbana's manual lays out a specific numbered log placement, with black wool media spread thinly over the burner tube and firebox floor before the logs go in, since logs set in the wrong position can impinge the flames.

Specifications

• Ceramic log construction; handle with vinyl gloves as the material can irritate skin and the logs are fragile and can chip.
• Works with the U55's thick steel fire grate, which supports the logs and helps create a realistic fireplace appearance.

Installation

Let the appliance cool completely before placing or rearranging the logs.
