The Traditional Split Log Set (part 50-4023) is the ceramic log option for the Urbana U44 fireplace, giving the firebox a split-wood look when arranged over the burner media. It is built for the log-burner version of the U44 and is sized for that firebox.

Fit

• Fits the Urbana U44 log-burner fireplace.
• Includes a 10 piece log set sized for the U44 firebox.

What it adds

This set gives the U44 a traditional split-log appearance, as an alternative to the U44 Birch Log Set. The logs are ceramic, so Urbana's manual calls for vinyl gloves when handling them, since the material can irritate skin, and for careful handling since the logs are fragile and can chip. Placement follows the manual's numbered layout, set after the supplied black wool media is spread over the burner tube and firebox floor, since logs set in the wrong position can impinge the flames.
