This antenna wire fits appliances using the SIT Proflame 2 Integrated Fireplace Controller (IFC), a genuine Enviro part numbered 50-4090. It carries the radio-frequency signal from the remote transmitter to the IFC, which in turn manages the gas valve, stepper motor, pilot and fan through its wiring harness, so a sound connection here supports reliable, correctly commanded operation of the appliance.

Fit

• A single antenna wire, listed alongside the Proflame 2 IFC wire harness and IFC reset button on Enviro's parts lists.

When to replace it

If the remote no longer reaches the IFC or commands arrive inconsistently, a worn or damaged antenna wire can be the cause rather than the receiver or batteries, since it is the component that physically carries the RF signal to the controller.

Installation

Unplug the appliance before replacing this part.
