Warm air only does its job once it leaves the firebox, and that's the blower's role. This Enviro blower system (part 50-3622, also listed as 50-3621 and 50-4150) replaces the worn blower assembly in Westport units equipped with the IPI Sit Proflame 2 control, built from roughly April 2017 to January 2022.
The blower pulls room air across the heat exchanger and pushes it back out, so a failing or sluggish motor shows up as uneven heating even when the fire itself looks normal.
A blower that's slowing down or cycling oddly is often the first sign to check before assuming a control board issue, since restricted airflow can mimic other faults. Keep the intake path free of dust buildup to help the new blower run at full capacity.
While replacing the blower, it's worth inspecting related electrical components in this system — sensors, the valve, and the remote receiver — for wear, since these parts share duty cycles with the blower motor.
