Inside a gas fireplace, the log set does more than decorate the firebox — it absorbs and radiates heat from the burner into the room while shaping how the flame moves across the burner. The Enviro Traditional Split Logset (50-3539) is the genuine replacement for this component, sold as a complete set of eight logs for the Enviro G42 gas fireplace.

Purpose

The log set sits over the burner, directing flame contact and storing heat so the fireplace radiates warmth evenly rather than venting it straight up the flue.

Key Benefits

• Restores proper flame pattern for consistent, even heat output
• Genuine Enviro part designed to match factory fit in the G42 firebox
• Full eight-log set — no mixing old and new pieces that no longer align
• Maintains heat storage function so the fireplace runs at its intended efficiency

Specifications

• Contains 8 logs
• Sold only as a complete set — individual logs are not available separately

Other Notes

Worn or cracked logs can shift how flame travels across the burner, which unevenly redirects heat and may leave cold spots in the room. Because correct log placement affects combustion, installation should be performed by a licensed gas technician in accordance with local codes.

While replacing the log set, it's worth inspecting related media such as the burner pan, ember bed, or glowing embers material for wear, since these components work together to shape the finished flame presentation.
