The Enviro Evolution EF5 and Enviro P4 pellet stoves use this auger shaft with paddles, part 50-1085, to carry pellets from the hopper to the burn pot. It is the version built for units manufactured after September 2004, and it is driven by the auger motor through a set screw that locks onto the flat of the motor shaft.

When to replace it

If pellets stop feeding or feed unevenly and a jam has been cleared through the drop tube or by removing the auger cover, a worn or damaged shaft and paddle set can be the reason the feed never returns to normal.

Fit

• Listed as 'Auger with Paddles Weldment' (item 22) in the P4 parts diagram and as 'Auger with paddles' in the EF5 Evolution technical manuals.
• For the top bushing and auger kit, choose 50-1223.

Installation

Let the appliance cool completely before removing the auger cover or working on the shaft, and re-seal the cover with silicone afterward.
