If a pellet stove's combustion blower starts running louder than usual, or the fire seems weak and uneven despite a clean burn pot, a worn seal around the blower housing is often the cause. The Enviro Omega Maxx Gasket (part 50-1664, also listed as 501664) replaces the worn combustion blower mounting gasket in compatible Enviro pellet stoves.
This high-temperature gasket seals the rear of the stove where the combustion blower motor mounts, preventing outside air from leaking into the combustion chamber. A compromised seal at this joint can throw off airflow and affect how the stove burns.
Inspect this gasket whenever the combustion blower is removed for cleaning or service. Because it seals a combustion air path, a cracked or compressed gasket can allow flue gases to escape into the room rather than venting properly, so replace it at the first sign of wear rather than waiting for a full failure.
While you have the stove open, it is worth checking the door gasket and any other combustion-chamber seals for hardening or gaps, since these wear on a similar timeline and are easy to overlook once the blower gasket is addressed.
