The Heyco strain relief (part EC-044) is a genuine Enviro cord bushing that protects the domestic 115V power cord where it passes through the appliance housing, fitting the models listed below. By gripping the cord at its entry point, it keeps the connection stable and helps prevent wear from repeated flexing or vibration.

When to replace it

Over time the bushing can crack, loosen its grip, or let the cord shift at the entry point, which puts added strain on the wiring. Replacing it before that strain reaches the internal connections helps the power cord, and the blower circuit it feeds, keep running reliably.

Installation

Unplug the appliance before replacing the strain relief.
