A weak or wandering pilot flame that no longer wraps around the flame sensor is often the first sign this thimble has worn out. The IPI Pilot Thimble (part 50-4234) is the natural gas pilot thimble for the Proflame 2 System IPI pilot on the Enviro EX32, positioning the pilot flame so it can properly envelope the flame sensor.

When to replace it

If the pilot flame no longer covers 3/8 in to 1/2 in of the flame sensor, or the pilot struggles to stay lit, the thimble may be worn or out of position and due for replacement.

• Fits the Enviro EX32 Gas Fireplace Insert, which uses the SIT Valve 885 IPI system with remote.

Specifications

• Pilot flame should envelope 3/8 in to 1/2 in of the flame sensor.
