The Enviro EX32, Enviro EX35, Enviro S40 and Enviro Berkeley use this nine-piece ceramic log set, part 50-3502, to shape the flame pattern around the burner. Each log has a drilled hole or notch that locates it on the burner pins or on the log beneath it, so the set sits in one correct arrangement rather than any order the installer chooses.

When to replace it

Because the manual calls for checking all nine logs for damage before installation, cracked, chipped or missing logs are reason enough to replace the set, since mis-set or damaged logs can pinch the flame and affect combustion.

Fit

• Listed as 'Log Set (9 Pcs.)', item 13, in the EX32 and EX35 owner's manuals, and as 'Ceramic Log Set (9 pieces)' on Enviro's current parts list.
• Includes the back log, ember logs and top logs that position onto the burner pins and into the log notches.
• The S40 and Berkeley use their own nine-piece log set, 50-3234, if that is the number your manual lists.

Installation

Let the appliance cool completely before removing the safety screen and glass door to access the logs.
