Uneven burns, excess soot, or a flame pattern that looks off in the Empress insert often point back to the draft restrictor plate. The Enviro Empress Insert Draft Restrictor Plate (50-1533) is the genuine Enviro replacement part for the Enviro Empress pellet fireplace insert, controlling airflow to keep combustion operating as designed.

Fit

• Fits the Enviro Empress fireplace insert (FPI version).

When to replace it

A warped, corroded, or missing restrictor plate can upset the draft balance in the firebox, leading to inconsistent combustion. If the Empress insert is burning unevenly or drafting improperly, inspecting this plate is a reasonable place to start.
