This drawer collects the ash that falls from the burner during operation and lets it be removed safely from behind the lower grill, closing securely with its own latch to keep the firebox sealed while the stove runs. The EF-105 is the genuine Enviro ash pan drawer with latch for the Enviro EF2 (EF2-1-FPI/EF2-1-FS) and Enviro EF3 fireplace inserts built before 2008, replacing the ash pan that sits beneath the burner in these units.

Fit

• Fits the Enviro EF2 (EF2-1-FPI/EF2-1-FS) and Enviro EF3 fireplace inserts, pre-2008 build.
• Freestanding EF2 stoves use a different ash drawer, so this drawer is for the insert version only.
• For the ash pan latch alone, choose EF-060.

When to replace it

Enviro's manual calls for checking ash levels every few days to weekly, with the gaskets inspected twice a year or every 2 tons of fuel burned. A drawer or latch that no longer closes securely, or shows worn gaskets, is due for replacement to keep the ash pan and door sealed during operation.

Installation

Let the appliance cool completely before removing the ash pan cover and unlatching the drawer for replacement.
