This kit changes the fuel setup of the Enviro C44 millivolt fireplace so it burns propane instead of natural gas, swapping the burner orifice and pilot orifice to match propane's higher manifold pressure. The Enviro C44 Millivolt Conversion Kit, part 50-3268, is built for the Enviro C44 and keeps the fireplace running at its rated output of up to 38,000 BTU/hr after conversion.

What's in the kit

• Propane burner orifice, #49 DMS, replacing the natural gas #32 DMS orifice
• Propane pilot orifice (0.14), included in the later kit revision
• Installation instruction sheet
• Two conversion labels

Fit

• Replaces 50-03268. If your manual lists 50-03268, this is the part to order.
• For the reverse conversion, choose 50-3269.

When to replace it

This kit is needed any time a C44 millivolt fireplace is being switched from natural gas service to propane service, since the burner and pilot orifices are fuel-specific and won't deliver correct manifold pressure on the wrong gas type.

Specifications

• Manifold pressure after conversion: 10.0 in W.C. on propane (vs. 3.5 in W.C. on natural gas)
• Maximum input: 38,000 BTU/hr on propane
• Minimum input: 29,500 BTU/hr on propane

Installation

Installation should be done by a licensed gas technician, in accordance with local codes.
