This kit switches a Nova-valve gas stove's fuel setup from propane to natural gas, replacing the burner orifices and converting the pilot and valve so the unit burns correctly on natural gas. The Enviro conversion kit, part 50-3261, fits the Enviro Berkeley and Enviro S40.

Fit

• Fits the S.I.T. Nova Valve - Convertible, part 50-1421.
• For the reverse direction, natural gas to propane, choose 50-3262.

When to replace it

If a Berkeley or S40 running on propane needs to switch fuel supply to natural gas, this kit restores correct burner input and efficiency for that fuel, since the propane orifices and pilot setting are not correct for natural gas operation.

What's in the kit

• Two natural gas burner orifices, #45 and #44 (#44 for the left burner, #45 for the right)
• One conversion label, to be installed near the rating label
• One installation instruction sheet

Specifications

• Natural gas manifold pressure: 3.6 in. W.C.
• Natural gas input: 27,000 to 40,000 BTU/hr
• Pilot conversion requires no new orifice, just a 1/4 turn of the pilot head with a 7/16 in. wrench

Installation

Installation should be performed by a licensed gas technician in accordance with local codes.
